God’s Holy Spirit wrote the Bible and used people to do so.  Why, you may wonder? Because men and women have dominion on earth, and it should happen through them.  You will find this throughout the whole Bible.

So why trust God?
Simple… His words are exalted (Psalm 138:2). In other words, God will perform His word no matter what.  It’s like a king saying that all homes should be green, and then all of them will be green, because the king said so.  His word is performed. (Jeremiah 1:12)

The Lord will not go below or above His word. Exactly what He said in the Bible, He will perform, and His word will endure forever. (Isaiah 40:8)

With all of this said, now read the following scriptures and know you can trust the Lord and keep praying to Him to keep the Lord accountable. (Also remember, we are accountable for our own lives)

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”

Jeremiah 29:11 says,  “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Psalm 56:3 says,

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”

Isaiah 26:3 says,

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You.”

Psalm 37:5 says,

“Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”

Romans 8:28 says,
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Philippians 4:6-7 says,

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
